Charming Cheery Chickadees

The song of the black-capped chickadee is a very common thing to hear in our yard. They are small, energetic, and pretty cute. We have bird feeders and it’s great to see them stopping by for a few seeds. It’s even better when you refill a feeder, walk across the lawn and they begin landing on it while you’re walking. They have gotten pretty used to our presence, but still won’t stick around for a handout.
